New to Ogletown? You’re invited to enjoy lunch with staff and some of our regular attenders on Sunday, August 26, after the 2nd service in E112. Drinks and pizza provided at no charge, and children are welcome. Sign up here.

(Through 8/26) School Supplies Drive
The WMU prayerfully invites you to share Christ with our community by providing school supplies for Gallaher Elementary School and Urban Promise. A list of suggested items can be found here. Don’t forget to bring the supplies by Sunday, August 26, and place them in the Mobilized for Mission display box in the OEX or in the bin in the Main Building.

100% of the offering goes toward church planting, special needs ministries, and more. Envelopes will be available in either building on Sunday, September 9.

Saturday, September 15, at 1 p.m. in E118-119. Ed and Margo Palsgrove will show a presentation of their Israel mission trip. Bring a dessert to share. Sign up in either building. Contact Kathi May-Clark for questions.

• Family Time & Baptism: 9:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact Pastor Champ at cthornton@ogletown.org. Grade schoolers will join their parents in the Sanctuary.
• Combined Worship Service: 11 a.m. in the OEX.
• Ogletown Family Picnic at Lums Pond State Park–Area 2: Immediately following the Combined Worship Service. Lunch begins at 1 p.m. Please bring a side dish and dessert to share. Volunteers needed. Sign up here.

We offer Sunday Bible Studies from 9:45-10:45am for every age-group that fills our hallways. Sunday Bible Studies are a great way to get to know other people from Ogletown and we encourage you to investigate our current classes and find a place to learn and grow more at OBC.

Tuesday, August 21,11 a.m. in E211. The Missionary Spotlight will be “Love So Amazing: The Lovelace Family Forges Ahead in Serving Christ in St. Louis.” Refreshments will be provided by Rachel Wood and Bev Griffitts. All ladies are welcome to join us for the meeting and fellowship.

This semester, the Moms Bible Study will be reading through the book Parenting:14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family by Paul Tripp. Come join other moms on Tuesday mornings, 9-11 a.m. in M114, beginning September 11. Contact Lisa Humpton for questions.

Saturday, August 25, 6:30-8 p.m. in E112. If you are new to Student Ministry or new to OBC (the past year), this event will help you get acclimated to how we do Youth Ministry, connect your kids with peers, and connect parents with our awesome volunteer staff! At 6:30 p.m., 1st-5th graders have a kick-off event in the OEX Gym and Preschoolers will meet in the Main Building.
