Andrew’s Closet

MEETING ESSENTIAL NEEDS OF FOSTER CHILDREN
DURING THEIR FIRST 30 DAYS OF PLACEMENT.

Andrew’s Closet helps meet the needs that foster families face in the first 30 days of welcoming a child into their home. Placements are often arranged with little-to-no time for foster families to prepare for the child(ren) that enter their homes. Foster children often come with very few, if any, personal items or clothing. This resource is a tangible way that Ogletown can assist families who are taking emergent, temporary, or long-term placements.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:

Supporting foster children and placement families has never been more possible. The closet is currently partially outfitted with 5-7 days worth of boys and girls clothing and shoes for all seasons, ages 1 day to 5 years old. Our goal is to complete 50 boxes with items such as diapers and wipes, formula, coats, shoes, and gift cards. The total to complete a box is $100. Visit the Mobilized for Mission display in the hallway outside of the OEX Great Room and select a card with a pledge for a specific item or donation amount. Bring your donation back to the display by November 26th.
