Sunday Drop-off & Safety Info: Preschool

Our desire is to minister to you and your child. Showing God’s love to your child is very important to us. Safety and security will provide a loving environment for your child while you worship and learn from God’s Word.

Where do I take my Preschooler?

Our Preschool Department is located in the Main Building. The Kids Connection preschool welcome desk is located in the Foyer. Look for signs directing you to this location.

Drop-off Procedures

  • Upon dropping your child(ren) off for the first time, you should be asked to fill out an information card that will tell us important details about your child(ren)
  • You will need to write your child(ren)’s name on Child ID labels and you will be assigned a temporary ID card with a specific number for your visit that day
  • Walk your child to their classroom

Pick-up Procedures

  • Show your ID Card (Temporary or Permanent) at the Kids Connection Welcome Desk
  • Walk to your child(ren)’s classroom and show your card to verify matching ID numbers

What to bring:

  • Diapers
  • Pacifiers or special blanket – please make sure it is labeled
  • Change of clothes

What we provide:

  • Snacks for children who crawl and older (please alert us to any allergies)
  • Wipes
  • Bottle warmers for infants

1st-5th Grade Sunday Morning drop-off information

Our Elementary students begin Sunday School in the Zone located in the Main Building. The Kids Connection welcome desk is located outside the Zone. Look for signs directing you to this location.

Drop-off Procedures

  • Your child(ren) will walk past the the Kids Connection Welcome Desk and enter the Zone

Pick-up Procedures (NOT attending children’s church)

  • Show your ID Card (Temporary or Permanent) at the Kids Connection Welcome Desk
  • Walk upstairs to the child(ren)’s classroom.
  • Show your ID card to the classroom volunteer to verify matching ID numbers.

Pick-up Procedures (attending children’s church)

  • Show your ID card (temporary or permanent) at Kids Connection welcome desk.
  • Wait at the Welcome Desk for your child(ren) to be retrieved from the Zone to verify matching ID numbers.

Children’s Church

Beginning Palm Sunday, March 24, we will pilot an optional Children’s Church during the 10:30 service time slot. For 3 months we will offer and evaluate a more age-appropriate option for children in grades 1-5, although parents may still bring their children to the regular services, if they prefer.  Parents who wish to take their children to regular church may pick up each child from his or her respective classroom between the service times.
Parents who wish to leave their children in Children’s Church may pick up each child from the Children’s Ministry Welcome Desk at the brand new entrance to the Zone.
