Plan Your Visit
We’re glad you’ve made it this far in planning for a visit to Ogletown. We hope you find helpful information below that will lead you to our front doors and maybe even to be a part of our family.
1. Start here.
We invite you to do your research about our church. What do we believe? Who do you expect to see on stage on Sunday? Take a few minutes to browse our site to learn more about who we are.
2. Get directions.
We’re located in Newark, Delaware off of I-95 and very close to the University of Delaware. Find the best route here.
3. Arriving at OBC.
You’re free to park anywhere and join us in one of our two buildings. Our 9:00am service (contemporary) is held in the newer, two-story building on our campus called the Ogletown Exchange, and our 10:30am service (traditional) is held in the older building with the steeple.
4. Visiting with Kids.
Our nursery and pre-school ministries are located in the older building on our campus, just 30 steps away from where our contemporary service is held. Children ages birth thru Kindergarten are welcome in the nursery and pre-school classes during the 9:00am service, and our other OBC Kids programs (grades 1-5) take place during the 10:30am service. Children grades 1 and older are invited to join their parents in the worship service. For more information about OBC Kids and further details regarding nursery drop-off, please see our OBC Kids page.
5. What to expect.
If you’re visiting during the 9:00am service, you should expect contemporary worship with a full band and worship leader. If you’re visiting during the 10:30am service, you should expect to worship traditionally with hymns and worship songs.
6. Want more?
Adult Sunday School classes are held during both hours in the Ogletown Exchange. Children (grades 1-5), Youth (grades 6-12), College-age and some Adult classes are held during the second hour only in the Ogletown Exchange. For a list of current classes being offered for Adults, visit our Sunday School page.
